What is AIESEC?

AIESEC, the world’s largest student organization, is the international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential so as to have a positive impact on society.

In addition to providing over 6,500 leadership positions and delivering over 350 conferences to our membership of over 28,000 students, AIESEC also runs an exchange program that enables over 4,400 students and recent graduates the opportunity to live and work in another country.

What is AIESEC Careers Day?

AIESEC Careers Day is a six hour career fair for students from all faculties to attend and discover the potential career opportunities with over 75 companies. For it’s 31st year, AIESEC Careers Day will be held on September 22nd in MacEwan Hall at the University of Calgary.

What are the Objectives of AIESEC Careers Day?

To introduce students to various career paths and employment opportunities available in different industries.

A day for companies and organizations to set up recruitment information booths for representatives to give students’ insight of their work culture and potential career opportunities.

To allow companies to increase exposure of themselves and their industry to students at one of the largest University of Calgary career fairs.

AIESEC Careers Day is a career fair catered to students in all faculties located at the University of Calgary.

The largest undergraduate faculties attending the event in 2005 and 2006 are business, engineering, science and social science. To allow companies to increase exposure of themselves and their industry to University of Calgary students.

The venue for the event will be at the MacEwan Student Centre. It’s prime location at the heart of the University of Calgary campus with one of the highest student traffic on campus.
